Mom can we get a dog
Brooklyn LOVES puppies and dogs. She is totally fascinated with them. She doesn't mind on bit if they come right up to her face and lick her, sniff her or run around her. She just laughs about it. In fact the first time she laughed she was playing with our neighbors dog. It was the cutest thing EVER!!! This little dog is our Grandma Anderson's dog. Her name is Sam. She is a crazy dog and was quite mellow around Brooklyn which surprised us all.

Hot Riden
Ever since Clarke got me a new bike I have been wanting a bike trailer so I could take Brooklyn with me on rides. So we decided to get one last week. It's not the nicest trailer but it works and has been so fun to have. We just strap the car seat in and put Brooklyn in the car seat because she is still to small to sit up all by herself in there. She loves it just as much as we do!!! We went on a 7 mile bike ride. It was blazin hot so we stopped at the Logan River down on the Island to cool down.

Do you ever Feel like.......
Warning: You do not have to read if you don not want to. This is a post merely for myself and documention.
Do you ever feel like your less than ordinary. Feel like you can only handle one job at a time. Feel like people think your crazy. Feel so selfish. Feel like everything you do is wrong. Feel like your never going to make it. Feel like a bad mother. Feel like a bad wife, daughter, aunt, sister, friend and granddaughter. Feel like the world has stopped and everything is going to crash on down on you. Feel like your not good enough. Feel like you have no idea how you will get through the day. Feel like you don't know how to do your job. Feel like a master at one thing and a complete failure at another? Well these are my thoughts and feelings this day an age. I am feeling quite inadequate at this moment and like a failure at the things placed in front of me. I am scared to continue being a mother (there is no going back of course) I don't know how to be the best mom for Brooklyn, nor the best wife and the best employee at work. I feel like I have way to much on my plate yet not enough. I feel like I could just explode or drop dead, this may be the result of running on 4 hours of sleep on a 13 hour day at work..who knows. But this is how I feel at this moment in time. There are a lot of things in my life that I need to do better at, like most of us, one thing, that I also think is HUGE and I regret putting it off so much is praying daily, alone in a quiet spot all alone and asking for Heavenly Father's help. It is a growing process every day. I know this may sound completely ridiculous and a cry for help, it's not I promise I am simply just pouring out my heart and what is on my mind to relieve some stress and feelings, this is my out.
My most recent goal comes from the Ensign. The talk 'Open the Heavens' some how this talk really got through to me. It talked about how we should take a few moments EVERYDAY and find a quiet spot to open the heavens essentially, To open up your heart to your father in heaven and tell him how grateful you are for what you have and tell him your hope and dreams and then only then can he help you if you just ask. I know this isn't a confession session or whatever but I have not always nor am I good at saying my prayers and reading my scriptures everyday, like a lot of us I presume. Not only am I horrible at remembering to follow these small and simple gospel principals I have not been to the temple since last fall. I am not happy about it and believe is it a result of my unhappiness or lack of confidence and only 'I' can change that and just GO, right. Ya well when you work all the time and have a day consumed by the daily tasks of what to eat, what to clean first, what to do with the baby to help her learn new things, when to leave the house, who could watch Brooklyn, when will Clarke get home, what should I fix for dinner, should we eat out, should I go work out. YA these are all excuses I can no longer use. I NEED to go the temple. I have deprived my family of the wonderful blessings that will come as long as I continue to follow the lord. My point in writing this goes back to my goal, I have made myself a promise that I will find a spot EVERYDAY to pray in silence and by myself and express my gratitude for the things in my life and to help me be a better Mother and much much more. Also to read my scriptures. My friend gave me the idea of taking your Book of Mormon with you where ever you go, when you have a few extra seconds while your waiting for something pull it out and read it. So starting today I took my Book of Mormon to work and read it when I had a few extra mins. I was very touched and a single small feeling came over me that I recognized and it relaxed me and helped me get through the day. I was not ashamed to pull it out in front of my co-workers and I know that may sound weird but I know that all of us have felt a little bit awkward at times when reading the book in front of people to not offend others. I will not feel that way anymore, because who knows it may be just the prefect missionary experience.
Sorry this post is so strange and went in a couple different random directions. I was spilling it all out. Hope you don't mind....If you even read it!

6 Month well check up
Brooklyn got to go see the doc on tues July 21st. It's pretty fun to see how much she has grown over the months and see the changes that she is making.
Brooklyn weighs 13 Lbs 15 oz (10%) and is 25 in (50%).
The doc tells me to make sure that she is getting 24-32 oz's daily. However I am still nursing so I have no idea how much she is actually getting but he says whatever I am doing is working and not to worry!
Brooklyn can: and she:
-sit up on her own
-eat finger food all by her self
-scoot everywhere
-Laugh (finally, but only when she is in the mood)
-sit in her high chair
-gets chunkier
-smiles at EVERYTHING
-loves to be talked to and LOVES people
-has a attitude
and we still love her so much! Every day we can't get enough

Happy Pioneer Day
I am so grateful for my ansestors who came and settled in this land. Without them who knows where we would be. I'm grateful for the hard times they had to go through. I have been on a couple Pioneer Treks and had a slight understanding for those pioneers and their journey. What a spiritual experience those Treks really are. I loved being out there in the middle of nowhere just wondering what they must have really gone through and how they felt also what where they thinking. I would have no idea which direction to go in, everything was just desert and looked the and still does. All they had was the Lord to guide them and the Prophet and leaders, who also were lead by the Lord. How grateful I am to their dedication to the Lord and following the spirit. I love celebrating Pioneer Day. I hope I can follow the Lord more and more everyday! Unfortunately I have to work.
Happy Pioneer Day!

The 4th of July
Sorry for all of the pictures.....
Man I am so horrible at posting things. I need to get better at this stuff. Anyway for the 4th of July we had a party like everyone else does. That's right we want to be like everyone else. I had to work that morning and afternoon. We went to the Cruise in, My favorite thing about the 4th. We go every year. We went on Fri nite with some friends who just go for the food, we love you Jamie and Brian. Brian went to every food stand that was open and ordered something. It was pretty funny. And of of course here is Clarke all excited about the cars and his increasing, by the hour, knowledge of all the cars proceeds to let Brian in in all the greatness and Brian could really careless but bless his heart just listens and really just wants more food....haha I love you babe! That night we went up to their house and watched the fireworks and had some snacks. Great seats. They live right up on the hill by Cliff side..pretty much the best to live in Cache Valley. Jealousy comes to mind! Brooklyn was asleep for the whole thing.
On sat we went with our other friends Brooke and Ethan and met up with Ty and Whitney at the parade on main. After the parade we went back to our house and had some really yummy BBQ and had lots of fireworks. It was awesome...in Whitney's words 'it was pretty much amazing'. It was so much fun There were some pretty awesome cars. Pictures to come..
Brooklyn just loves Whitney and while we were at the parade Brooklyn fell asleep on Whitney's legs. It was the cutest thing ever. We even had a old lady come over and take a picture of her and told us that that was the way to watch a parade of cars. So cute.

6 Months old
Brookee is 6 MONTHS old. What in the world. That is half a year. It's tripin me out yo! She has got to be the most fun baby EvEr. We just love her so much. I seriously hategoing to work because I'd rather just spend every last min with her. It's good for us to be apart tho and for me to get out to work. (I really do love my job too)
She can sit up by herself, for the most part. Sometimes she loses her balance and tips over and face plants it, it's awesome....LOL she doesn't mind.
She resently developed some beautiful lungs that are piercing to ones ear. She uses them when she is hungry or tired and just wants to be held. She is pretty good at fallen asleep with out me rocking her all the way. She loves her bed I'm pretty sure of it. She is pretty long, not sure an exact length find out on the 21st at her 6 mon check up. Time flys! I love being a MOTHER.....might I add best job in the entire world....EVER! It does make being a mom easy when you are blessed with such a good and happy baby girl. Sometimes she looks at me like mom you are crazy and stop doing that it's old. She eats extremely well that I love it so much! She can sorta giggle but not really. we try so hard. She also has to have all the attention. If you put her on the floor and leave the room she gets mad or if there is nothing more interesting to her at the moment then your face and you aren't looking at her or talking to her she freaks. Such a drama little girl. she hates to wear her bows or maybe it's just because she'd rather suck on them then wear them. she always pulls them off and pulls them apart or just eats them. she has ruined like 3 or 4 of her bows already....thats why the cute fourth of July bow is not on her pretty little head.

Anderson Family reunion
Be prepared for lots of pictures and a long post....sorry you don't have to read.
This year we went to St. George for our Anderson family reunion. This is Clarke's moms side of the family. We left in the rain and drove through like 3 hard rain storms. It was great because it didn't rain the whole time we were in St. George. We got there on wed evening and of course everyone said hi to Brooklyn before Clarke and I. She is most important now days. We then set up Brooklyn's bed and put her to sleep and hung out with the family. Thur we got up went for a hike it was pretty dang hot so it didn't last very long. we then went to this place by the tab where there is some what of a swimming area. it's like a small river for kids. We let Brooklyn try it out and she hated it. I think she just didn't like the cold water. She was very cute. We lost her binky and she was pretty cranky without it so our Aunt Shanna gave her some cantalope. She really liked it, she mostly just chewed on it and sucked the juice out of it. It was so fun watching her eat it. but to tell you the truth I was a little nervous. It was the first time she has had anything besides milk. They gave her watermelon too. She took a huge bite out of it and sucked out the juice and spit it out, I could not watch it freaked me out....I'm a nervous momma when it comes to that. On Friday we went to Jacob Hamblin's home in Santa Clara. It was pretty cool. It is very interesting how they used to do things. Then we went to Brigham Young's winter home in St. George. It was seriously huge. Their great room was beautiful, I wouldn't mind having a great room like theirs. His room was pretty huge too. I love the old fashioned things that he had and all the detail throughout the home. It was pretty neat how they used to paint wood to look like marble and other types of wood. It was seriously beautiful art.
that night we made some yummy food and sat around and enjoyed each others company. We came home on Sat. We were very tired and very ready to go home. We decided to stop at Cabela's for fun and for a break. We parked and notice that there was a pretty big storm coming in. I had to feed Brooklyn so we stayed in the car. The next we knew it start pouring so hard. After I feed brooklyn we wrapped her in a blaket and out on our jackets and made a run for it. We ran across the parking lot in puddles of water. Seriously the whole parking lot was full of water and we were in shorts and flip flops, it was pretty funny. I couldn't believe how hard and how much rain there was. Here are some pictures of our fun trip.
