Celine Dion

Celine Dion came to Salt Lake City for the first, and hopefully not the last, time on sunday Feb. 22, 2009. IT was a rescheduled show. It was originally scheduled for Nov 21, 2008; I would have been 8 months prego; which wouldn't of been such a big deal. But i'm glad I wasn't pregnant when I Went because it was so hot from all the smoke and stuff, but still I wouldn't of complained. We were at Celine Dion's Concert, Seriously......
When I heard that Celine was coming I imediatley called my mom and told her that we had to go. Ever since I was a little girl I have loved Celine. I always listened to her, pretty much everyday. And I told my mom that if she ever came into town that we had to go no matter what. I looked online for a really long time almost up until the last min to buy tickets because of money, and my mom kept telling me that my step dad would buy them or give me his credit card number but never did and I was getting really worried that we weren't going to be able to go.
Wayne, my step dad, told my mom and I that while we were at the Salt Lake Temple for my cousins wedding in June of 2008 he would go over to the Delta Center, now the Energy Solutions Arena, and get us tickets for Celine's show for us. I was so caught up in the wedding because I hadn't seen my cousins in a long time that I kinda forgot for a min. After my mom and Wayne left I went home as well, it dawned on me that he was going to get the tickets and never said anything the whole day about it. I'll be honest I was really starting to get upset because it was going to be sold out before I knew it, but I didn't want to push it. The next thing I know my mom is calling me telling me that I'll never guess what Wayne had just handed her. Two Celine Dion tickets. And really good Celine Dion tickets.....portal V, row 15 seat 7 and 8. Are you for real.....I cried I was so so excited and excited doesn't even really cut it. I was so grateful that he had remembered and that he surprised us. He told us it was our birthday presents. They were amazing seats. We were literally like 5 feet away from her and could see her really well. My mom and I looked at each other and cried...I know that may sound lame but we have always loved her and were just floored at how incredible her voice is, still to this day it sounds just the same as ever and SO BEAUTIFUL. It was so cool to be able to experience that with my mom too....really! It was one of the most special things I have been so lucky to experience. I will post pictures and video when I can. I can't get to my pictures yet because of our computer.
